Step back in time this Heritage Day! Monday, August 6th from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Do more than celebrate Alberta’s heritage this Heritage Day, live it at Heritage Park! Join us for an exciting, interactive, history-filled day that’s sure to delight the entire family.
Play family-friendly games including three-legged races, potato sack races, and stick pony gymkhana
Stamp your way around the Park with the “Passport to History”. Complete the challenge and enter to win a family pass!
Enjoy a live Canadian Citizenship ceremony as we welcome a hundred new Canadians
12 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Olympic Plaza. Multicultural Performances, Ethnic Foods and Handicrafts, Indian Village and more!
Enjoy face painting, soak up the sun and watch some folk performances at the Heritage Day Festival in Olympic Plaza.
4. Inglewood Sunfest
Free Summer Festival – August 4, 2018. It’s all about having fun in the sun with this year’s Inglewood Sunfest! More things to see and do, plus we still have all those favorite activities for the whole family. Join us from as the street comes alive with performers, vendors, and fantastic food. Make this the year you start a fun family tradition at the Sunfest!
July 31 to August 2 at Shaw Millennium Park and the Kirby Centre. The Calgary International Blues Festival brings big names to two Calgary venues, including guitar player Walter “Wolfman” Washington, Grammy-award winner Bobby Rush and harmonica player Sugar Blue.
