★UNDERSTANDING KIZOMBA Dance; Different STYLES
★How ZOUK MUSIC developed Brazilian ZOUK Dance!!
★WISE WORDS FROM A KIZOMBA PIONEER: KWENDA LIMA!!
1-ENOUGH FIGHTING OVER KIZOMBA STYLES AND NATIONALITY. The Kizomba movement that you are part of today spread from Portugal, not Angola. The pioneers of that movement were living together in Portugal, they were from Cape Verde; Angola; Guinea; Portugal. Out of all the many original pioneers only 2 of them were from Angola. Each had their own style and the pioneers did not fight over styles nor nationalities of their craft. They were united. SO SPREAD UNITY AND SPREAD THE KIZOMBA LOVE.2- Promoters do your job ethically.3- TEACHERS RESPECT YOUR COLLEAGUES, respect your art; respect your actions, respect your words, and respect your students. A teacher is humble and is not driven by his or her ego. Behave like a master; united in the name of art. A MASTER IS NOT A COMMUNITY POLLUTER NOR DIVIDER. A MASTER IS A COMMUNITY UNITER.4- KIZOMBA HAS FAMILY CONNECTING ENERGY. Kizomba has sensuality YES; but it is not to be used in a polluted way to disrespect women, but rather RESPECT THE FEMININE ENERGY WITHIN KIZOMBA.5- WISDOM FROM MASTER KWENDA LIMA. If you love Kizomba, listen to these words!! And apply them as Kizomba ethics within the Kizomba Community!!Kwenda My Teacher, Thank you so much!! You will be dearly missed!!
