Introduction to Oil & Gas

This half day course presents the fundamental technical and business concepts of the oil and gas industry. The course material is enhanced by discussions on current challenges facing the industry.
Participants will gain a basic understanding of the drilling, completion and production of oil and gas wells and the current issues regarding these activities. The course also includes an introduction to the Canadian oil and gas regulatory environment, commodity pricing and the future of oil and gas in Western Canada, North America and the world.
This course is designed for individuals who require an introduction to the Canadian oil and gas industry. It is appropriate for newcomers to the oil and gas industry, global citizens new to Canada’s oil and gas industry, administrative support staff, environmental and governmental activists, and other non-technical positions.

Any registration cancellation requests must be made on or before October 12, 2019 and will be subject to a $250 processing fee.
We reserve the right to cancel the course if minimum registrations levels are not met. As such, please purchase refundable/transferable airfare if you are flying in for this course. Decisions regarding cancellation will occur several weeks before the start date, and registrants will be notified and refunded if the course does not run.
